In December we had an opportunity to help 42 families in Pobiedna. And since these families had different needs, we made two types of charity packages. The first one for 32 families included basic food and housekeeping supplies. The second package for another 10 families consisted of boxes with fruits and vegetables. We also packed bread and Christmas Stollen cakes for all of the families.
We delivered the goodies directly to the people’s homes in two trips. It was really helpful that the village´s chairwomen and another woman from the board of the village accompanied us. They navigated us around and helped find all the addresses.
Each person who received our gift was very happy for the needed support. The people expressed their gratitude warmly and openly which really touched our hearts.
