When the temperatures started to drop, we contacted the director of the children’s home in Frýdlant to find out how we could best support them. The home had already spent the year’s allowance on disinfection and protection materials, so they were no longer able to afford any winter gear like gloves, hats, or warm socks. We therefore decided to offer winter gloves for the boys and girls. After ordering 30 pairs in 4 sizes and in 6 different colors, we packed them up and took them to the home.
When we arrived in the morning, the children were in school. We received a homemade gift and Christmas card made by the children. What a lovely surprise! We gratefully agreed to future cooperation and look forward to visiting the home again.
