When we heard that Associação Nossa Senhora dos Anjos had a shop for people in need, we contacted them to learn their essential priorities. The shop is a place where anybody can bring something for those in need. And those in need can pick up necessary items for free.
As the shop lacked basic food, we purchased four boxes of nonperishable groceries. They included cereals for breakfast, pasta, packet of biscuits, beans, olive oil, and milk. After disinfecting all the nonperishables, we placed them into boxes and delivered to the shop.
We felt a surge of joy and hope that these food items made a difference to those in need.
