Volunteers from Know Thyself as Soul Center in Kherson continue to help the new reintegration center for homeless people. This time, we decided to find out their food and cooking needs. To our surprise, we learned from the administration that the center needs any and all such products.
First we made a list ourselves: cereal, pasta, sugar, butter, and sunflower oil. Then volunteers purchased all these products. After everything was packed, we took the groceries to the center. Of course, the residents and the administration were very grateful for the support we were able to provide.
Who would have thought that you could bring so much genuine joy to people just by sharing food with them!
We decided that we would continue our cooperation and bring groceries to the center every two weeks.
