Recently we made friends with elderly people of a geriatric boarding house in Bogodukhov. This time our trip was planned for the eve of the winter holidays. So we decided to make decorations and gifts for the New Year.
We met several times at the center. We cut colored cards for crafts, fashioned garlands for the New Year tree, and painted 55 gingerbread cookies.
When we arrived at the boarding house, the residents were already sitting at tables waiting for us. After placing craft samples and other materials on each table, the creative activity began. By the end of the activity, each resident proudly displayed their handmade gift.
Some residents of the boarding house were not able to participate due to their illness. Therefore, we visited each room congratulating them on the upcoming holidays. We also presented gingerbread cookies and New Year crafts with a dose of good cheer.
