Last autumn our volunteers decided to prepare an advent celebration for a retirement home in Vienna. A friend and long-time visitor of the Know Thyself as Soul Center Vienna, who is now living in a retirement home, invited us to come and sing.
So, on a Sunday afternoon in December, our vocal group joyfully presented the musical program. It took place in the common rooms on two different floors at the Haus Neubau retirement home. During three songs guests could enjoy a performance with masquerade and vivid storytelling. In addition, we offered homemade organic chocolate candies at the end of the program.
Overall it was a special and much appreciated experience. We look forward to future charitable singing activities.
