During the COVID-19 pandemic volunteers from Lighthouse Center Poland, a center owned by the Holosophic Society Poland, came to know that some of the villagers in Pobiedna were in need of food and household supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore we organized a special food distribution for 27 local families.
While packing the boxes with food and household items, all of them were disinfected according to the governmental hygiene instructions.
This time the distribution took place at a small table in the open air. One or two people of the invited families arrived in prearranged 15 minute increments to pick up their box and a package of laundry powder. Two Lighthouse Center Poland volunteers distributed the items wearing face masks and gloves while maintaining the required social distance. The people thankfully appreciated the support – happy smiles could be felt.
